Should I just buy a template website?
If you want to be like hundreds of other websites with no marketing, then yes you should. But, if you want to increase profits and increase your web presence, then having something custom built for you is the way to go. Every business is different and has different needs and ideas. Template websites don't account for these differences. You become trapped with what you get. While, templates are cheap, you get what you pay for. Some drawbacks to templates are; Often these web pages are difficult to optimize for search engines. They are hard to customize later down the road and may cost more money than it would to build a custom site. The HTML code generated may not be compliant with existing web standards. Files tend to be large sizes. The web page may take a bit longer to download and cause your customers to get frustrated and go to your competitor.

What is SEO?
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. Typically, the earlier (or higher) a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence.

What's the difference between CMYK and RGB?
Red, Green, and Blue are "additive colors". If we combine red, green and blue light you will get white light. This is the principal behind the T.V. set in your living room and the monitor you are staring at now. Websites are designed using RGB.
Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are "subtractive colors". If we print cyan, magenta and yellow inks on white paper, they absorb the light shining on the page. Since our eyes receive no reflected light from the paper, we perceive black. The printing world operates in subtractive color, or CMYK mode.

The fact is that with today's technology and the printers that we use, there is no cost savings printing in only two colors. If you want to print black and white, sure it's cheaper, but it's cheaper! You won't have the same impact to the customer as printing full color.

What's the difference between high resolution and low resolution?
In the printing world, images and artwork need to be high quality and be sharp after ink goes to paper. High resolution is when the image is over 266dpi (dots per inch). Most printers print at 133 line screen, you simply double that to get your dpi. It's an industry standard to keep all images at 300 dpi, making them high res. Should I print my marketing or just consintrate on the internet?
While printing is being used less and less, it's important to have a good marketing mix between your print marketing and your online marketing. People still like to read their magazines, clip out coupons from the stuff they get in the mail and they use those post cards when they get them. In short, it's important to utilize both.

In short (because tag lines are short :), a tagline is simply a short set of words that companies use to associate with their company or brand...like the NY Times "All the news that's fit to print" or the Yellow Pages "Let your fingers do the walking", etc. These taglines, while clever, should also be highly relevant to your customers.
